Achtergrond en update over de situatie en zaak van Jock Palfreeman

art-353-palfreeman-300x0Jock Palfreeman, een jongen uit Australië, begon zijn reis door Europa in 2006 op 21 jarige leeftijd. Nadat hij een aantal landen had bezocht verbleef hij in een klein dorpje op twee uur rijden afstand van de Bulgaarse hoofdstad Sofia. Hij leefde en werkte hier met vrienden. Nadat hij naar Groot Brittanië was geweest, bracht hij in december 2007 nogmaals een bezoek aan zijn vrienden in Bulgarije.

Tijdens een avond uit met vrienden die december was hij getuige van een aanval van een groep van 16 voetbal-hooligans met duidelijk neo-nazistische trekken tegen twee Roma (zigeuner) jongens. Hij greep in en kwam op voor de jongens. Hij probeerde in het gevecht dat ontstond de groep op afstand te houden met een mes , ze vielen hem alsnog aan. Met geen mogelijkheid te ontsnappen heeft hij uit zelfverdediging twee van zijn belagers zwaar verwond, waarvan uiteindelijk één stierf – Andrei Monov. Continue reading

Grand Jury Resister Jerry Koch is Free!

On Tuesday, January 28th, anarchist grand jury resister Gerald “Jerry” Koch was released from the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. Koch’s release comes over eight months after his imprisonment for refusing to testify before a grand jury convened under the auspices of investigating the so-called bicycle bomber case.

Judge John Keenan, the presiding judge over Jerry’s case, believes that taking the position of a government run amok, using grand juries as a witch hunt is, “a delusion of grandeur.” Judge Keenan goes on: Continue reading

Mexico City: Anarchist Mario López ‘Tripa’ free on bail

The legal team has informed us that comrade Mario López was set free on bail, after being detained since January 20th, accused of having violated the federal law of guns and explosives with the aim of fabricating explosives.

We are more than happy with this news; nevertheless, it’s becoming clear to us that the witch-hunt against anarchists is continuing: detentions, deportations, threats, judicial setups, etc. Mario’s detention makes part of this terrorist strategy implemented by the State. Continue reading

Mexico City: Mario López ‘Tripa’ in custody again

Today, January 20th, 2014, comrade Mario López was arrested upon his weekly appearance in court for giving his signature as part of the conditions imposed for his conditional release. Primarily, he was informed that the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic required his detention by order of presentation, to ask him questions in relation to an ongoing investigation. After the interrogation, he was notified that he would be sent to custody following an arrest warrant for violation of the federal law of firearms and explosives, concerning the events of June 27th, 2012. He was transferred to the Reclusorio Oriente, Eastern Penitentiary of the Mexico City. We have no further information as of yet. Continue reading

With lot’s of energy and rage I write these brief lines to tell you about the conditions of my kidnapping by the government of Mexico City, but also to ramble about some topics that interest me at the moment.

Mi political situation has not yet been decided, and for obvious reasons I can’t go into details as to not screw up my legal defense. The night of the 5th of January, our comrades Fallon and Amelie and myself were detained by members of the police for being the alleged perpetrators of molotov cocktail attacks against the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, and for the fires of several cars of a NISSAN dealership. Mexico City – 5E3 Solidarity Campaign: Anarchists Amelie Pillierst, Carlos López Martin and Fallon Poisson kidnapped on January 5th and detained without bail

On the night of January 5th, Carlos – a comrade from Mexico, and Amelie and Fallon – two comrades from Canada, were arrested in relation to a Molotov attack on the Ministry of Communication and Transportation and a Nissan dealership in Mexico City. The three have since been held in detention and have limited contact with anyone, including their lawyer, and Amelie and Fallon have also been visited by the Canadian mconsulate. Continue reading
